Relish Culinary School stands out as the only “roving” culinary program that brings together talented chefs and fabulous cuisine at a variety of captivating wine country locations to create one-of-a-kind hands-on and demonstration cooking experiences.

Some of our favorite locations include stylish wineries, scenic vineyards, sustainable family farms, notable restaurants and beautiful private homes. For each event, we thoughtfully match each location with a skilled chef and class theme, resulting in a unique “personality” for each event. Most classes include a full meal of the featured recipes (no skimpy tastes here) paired with excellent local wines specially selected for the menu.

Relish offers a wide variety of classes from wine country cuisine to ethnic specialties, children's cooking workshops to cocktail classes, chocolate to chilies. All classes are entertaining and fun while providing practical techniques, ideas and information that guests can use at home.

Relish supports the bounty of local chefs, farmers, wine experts and food purveyors in Sonoma County from whom we build an impressive list of class instructors. We pride ourselves in highlighting local and organic ingredients whenever possible and encourage guests to support sustainable farms.

In addition to our scheduled classes, Relish creates private events for groups and businesses and offers one- and multi-day culinary tours that highlight the quality and variety of food producers in Sonoma County.


Examples of Recent Classes Include:

  • A tour and dinner at a local organic peach orchard with a demonstration by celebrity chef John Ash
  • A cocktail class at the renowned Cyrus Restaurant with mixologist Scott Beattie who has been featured in Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines
  • A sumptuous Italian meal in the al fresco kitchen at Lambert Bridge Winery with a demonstration by wood-fired oven expert Andrea Mugnaini
