Wine Country Cooking School
You settle in and sit back in our classroom while your instructor reviews the day's menu. Then it's into the spacious, light filled kitchen, outfitted with top-quality professional home equipment, to create a themed, three-course meal using Niagara's abundant seasonal ingredients and fresh herbs from the School's own garden.
The Wine Country Cooking School is all about learning while having fun! If you are looking for an in-depth culinary experience, a five-day Culinary Vacation may be just the answer! There is plenty of time to explore the relationship between food and wine at the Wine Country Cooking School at Strewn, Canada's only winery school…then enjoy the attractions of the Niagara region!
Each month, the School classes have a different theme. Menus vary with the seasons and every effort is made to accommodate dietary restrictions. Your culinary vacation starts daily with a hands-on cooking lesson, and you will enjoy lunch – matched with wine – in the School’s private dining room or outside on the patio.
After class, there is plenty of time to explore the region’s natural beauty, take in the theatre, the history and the sights. We are happy to assist you with arrangements!
