Cooking At The Villa was established by M. Luisa Zecchinato in 1997 on the shores of New England. Long summer days of introducing summering visitors to the Venetian Style of cooking soon created a demand for culinary tours to the Veneto Region. The philosophy was, and still is to marry cuisine, great wines and culture. With over ten years experience, Luisa Zecchinato continues to share her love of the best in Italian cuisine. Cooking At The Villa develops its program in the historic town of Verona. Among other historical events, Verona was the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Thanks to a dazzling staff, all native of Verona, you will experience a truly memorable culinary journey.

Among the many things that she does when in Verona (besides helping her father make wine when in season) is meeting with chefs for new recipes and tips. Luisa also developed a passion for Italian wines, particularly the many varietals produced in the surrounding hills of Verona.

Her tours convey the ambience, joy and togetherness that you find in an Italian table. She is a brilliant organizer and knows the area so well, being born right here in Verona. With great appreciation for the region, the variety of landscape (mountains and lake), the enormous amount of history, art and vestige, she has created culinary tours to promote its food and wines.

Luisa Zecchinato was born in Verona, Italy where she grew up in a blissful family of three brothers, lovely parents and close relatives. She also teaches Northern Italian Cuisine at The Cambridge Centre for Adult Education in Cambridge, MA and Learning Connection in Providence, RI.
