THE BOISE CO-OP CULINARY EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Boise Co-op is stirring things up (and adding a pinch of salt) with our Culinary Education Program! Featuring amazing teachers and classes for all ages and experience levels, we’ll help you learn to transform everyday ingredients into spectacular dishes simply and affordably.
We offer a variety of subjects to pique your appetite for learning and expand your culinary horizons. From a Kids’ Halloween Party to Julia Childs Boeuf Borguignon, there’s truly something for everyone. Our Culinary Educator, Sylvie Ryan, draws upon her background in classical French cuisine and brings it down to earth for the casual cook, with humor and insight and a commitment to having fun in the kitchen—and in the classroom! And, our wonderful guest chefs bring their own unique perspectives, tips and tricks, rounding out our program with a delicious array of foods from around the world.
In keeping with Boise Co-op’s mission, our classes will also help you better understand and appreciate the value and benefit of using fresh, local ingredients. We are dedicated to supporting our local food growers and producers, and whenever possible use their products in our Culinary Program.
