PCC Cooks

PCC Cooks is a division of PCC Natural Markets, the oldest and largest natural foods co-operative in the United States. Cooking classes are held in fully equipped kitchens in five of our nine grocery store locations, and at our business office. Our teaching kitchens have been designed to showcase our instructors' techniques, with ample counter space and video monitors to make following along as easy as possible.

We also offer many hands-on classes, local guest chef appearances, and an extensive array of children’s classes, including five-day summer cooking camps and three-day winter camps. We offer custom classes for groups of up to 24, plus corporate team-building classes.

Classes range from international and regional American cuisine, to the basics of cooking, to seasonal and holiday menus, all with an emphasis on healthy foods and cooking techniques.

PCC Cooks began in 1983 as an educational and nutritional program, to introduce our shoppers to the delicious world of natural foods cooking. Since then, PCC Cooks has grown to 40 instructors teaching more than 900 classes a year at six locations. We won the award for best avocational cooking school in 2009 from the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Our motto is “Fun classes. Fresh ideas.”
