Come join the fun at Company's Coming while you learn to cook - and enjoy some delicious new flavors! At Company's Coming, you will join other food lovers as the group explores the foods and wines of the world. Our classes will this season travel the globe from the United States to China and France and then on to Spain and Italy. Also included is a class with Pam Ginsberg on three delicious things to do with turkey. Tony Quinn of Cleveland Park Wines will bring us great flavors from Oregon and Washington State to taste. Company's Coming will continue its series of Saveur magazine special classes. This season Company's Coming offers Saveur's Italian class.

As always, a range of complete dinner party menus is included. Whichever class or classes you select, all are designed to teach you more than just cooking. At Company's Coming, you will learn some cooking short cuts and suggestions for wine pairings with each meal. The hands on participation style used in each class will teach you an "entertaining" menu easily replicated in your own home.
Ed and Jinny Fleischman have been entertaining together for more than 30 years. During these years, they have developed their own style of entertaining that focuses on making the meal pleasurable and relaxing for their guests as well as themselves.

Ed is well known for his love of grilling. He is skillful in "engineering" platters that showcase his food. Ed will demonstrate grilling techniques, and focus on carving and selecting beverages for each meal. He has honed his skills by training at the Cordon Bleu and Ritz in Paris.

Jinny loves to entertain friends and family alike. Her cooking education is broad and includes classes with Julia Child, Madeleine Kamman, Jean-Louis Palladin, Mt. Vernon College, the Cordon Bleu and Ritz in Paris as well as a program for cooking teachers at Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco.

Jinny and Ed attended a Tasting Places program in Sicily to increase their knowledge of Southern Italian cooking during the summer of 1999. Other travels have expanded their repertoire of world cuisines and wines to Hong Kong, Mexico, Australia, Chile, and the Italian Piedmont, many parts of France, Morocco, Spain and Portugal. In 2006, they took an intensive Mexican cooking class in Puebla, Mexico.
