ChefWorks offers the recreational cook an opportunity to expand his or her kitchen repertoire. From classes that start with basic cooking skills to those that explore sophisticated culinary techniques, anyone with even the slightest interest in food will find a class to peak interest.
Students can choose to explore tastes and recipes from exotic locales or take advantage of the season's bounty. Led by an award-winning chef, students participate in the cooking of a stellar meal, then feast on the results, accompanied by matching wines. Classes are usually about three hours long.
The gorgeous, beautifully equipped recreational cooking kitchen has been the setting for cooking shows and photo shoots as well as countless classes and successful interactive parties. Equipped with state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, a wide limestone counter for easy class participation and a warm kitchen atmosphere, students feel festive as they expand their cooking skills.
The finished meal is served at linen-draped tables in the “eat-in” part of the kitchen, where the class is invited to sit and dine at leisure. A nearby pastry kitchen may also be utilized, depending on the type of class, as well as the state-of-the-art industrial professional kitchen.
Also, ChefWorks is a big believer of kids in the kitchen. Classes are available for younger children to explore the exotic world of chocolate and other favorite themes. Teens learn to successfully find their way around a kitchen – and enjoy the results.
