While the featured cuisine changes based on dates, all classes include a complete dinner emphasizing technique and creativity with very clear and easy to follow recipes. Classes are enjoyed by both men and women of all skill levels in this beautifully renovated, well-equipped teaching kitchen located in the heart of Alexandria. Your class will include the preparation of a full-course dinner to include a seasonal menu of delectable dishes sure to please your eyes as well as your palette.
Old Town Foodie Tour & Tasting Lunch
Join your guide as you tour through a town of stately mansions, charming row houses, and tree lined streets. See what makes this former port town so charging, and delicious. You will explore parts of this historic and architecturally unique town that has prospered for over two hundred years. Discover locally owned and operated restaurants off the beaten path in this historically rich town. On this 3.5 hour guided, narrated walking tour, you will experience and learn about Old Town Alexandria’s significance throughout the history of our country. During the tour, you will stop to sample specially made dishes at long standing family owned restaurants. Enough food is served that most participants will not need dinner after the tour. All dishes are served sitting down, so you can enjoy the ambiance of each restaurant while trying their specialties.
