WHEN IS THIS CULINARY GETAWAY AVAILABLE?
Epitourean’s packages are built around your schedule. You choose the dates that you want to travel, and submit your reservation based on your preferences. Our Culinary Travel Specialists will confirm availability and get back to you shortly.
WHAT IF THERE IS NO AVAILABILITY FOR THE DATES I HAVE CHOSEN?
If we are unable to verify availability, we will suggest alternative dates, activities and/or lodging in an effort to accommodate your request as closely as possible.
WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED?
We do not charge your credit card until after we have verified availability, and then only after we have received your final approval.
IF YOU DO NOT CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD AT THE TIME OF MY RESERVATION, WHY DO YOU REQUIRE THAT I ENTER MY PAYMENT INFORMATION?
Even though we do not charge your card immediately, it is required to validate a reservation.
IS MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION SECURE?
Yes. Epitourean uses Authorize.Net to ensure the safety of your personal information, and we do not store any sensitive information on our servers. This is the same system used by thousands of merchants to process Internet transactions safely and securely every day.
AFTER I MAKE MY RESERVATION, WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
When you make your reservation, our Customer Fulfillment Center is notified. After availability has been confirmed, you are assigned a personal Culinary Travel Specialist. Your CTS will answer any questions you may have about your getaway, and ensure that all details of your trip are handled efficiently. It is like having a personal travel agent who is specifically trained in culinary travel.
WILL I RECEIVE AN ITINERARY?
Yes. Since Epitourean’s packages are highly customized…either by you or one of our Culinary Travel Specialists…we create your itinerary electronically. Once we receive confirmation numbers for all of your activities and lodging, we generate an itinerary online and email you a link. This link provides all of the contact information, as well as confirmation numbers you will need during your trip. Of course, your personal CTS is always available if you should have any questions.
CAN I USE A GIFT CARD TOWARD THE PURCHASE OF A GETAWAY?
Yes. You will plan your culinary getaway just as you would if you were paying by credit card. Once you enter the check-out (booking) path, you will be asked to enter a Gift Card Code (if you have one). The amount of the Gift Card will be deducted from price of the package, and you will be shown a balance due (if any).
WHY SHOULD I USE EPITOUREAN TO PLAN MY CULINARY GETAWAY?
Epitourean seeks out the finest suppliers and vendors to create memorable culinary experiences. While you select your preferred dates, hotel and activities to create your perfect culinary getaway, our Culinary Travel Specialists coordinate all of the details to ensure a worry-free vacation. Our suppliers are accustomed to our level of service, and are prepared to offer our customers enhanced experiences. We are also Bon Appetit Magazine’s exclusive provider of culinary getaways in North America. So you can trust that we have been held to very rigorous standards.
CAN WE TRAVEL AS A GROUP AND PAY INDIVIDUALLY?
Yes. When you reserve your culinary getaway, enter a comment telling us that you would like the ability for people in your group to pay individually. We can accommodate multiple forms of payment and sources.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Personal Checks.
WHAT IF I BOOK A CULINARY GETAWAY, BUT HAVE TO CANCEL?
You can cancel your booking up to 30 days prior to arrival and receive a full refund, less a $75 processing fee (designed to cover credit card fees and processing). If you need to cancel less than 21 days prior to arrival, we are unable to issue refunds due to supplier and vendor requirements. However, as with any specialty travel product, please consult your personal CTS for special circumstances. We always work with our customers whenever possible to accommodate emergencies.
